Autograph Document Signed (ADS), 1 page (8X 12 1/2"), Camp of Instruction 1/31/62 detailing personal military effects of deceased soldier Timothy Grannis ( Co. E, 1st Regiment Berdan's SharpShooters) to be returned to the family. Signed by Capt. William P. Austin (Co. E, 1st Berdan's Sharpshooters, wounded 7/1/62 at Malvern Hill, VA and severely wounded in the right arm at 2nd Bull Run, VA).
Some slight aging, small holes in upper fold, otherwise written in dark ink and legible.
