Alfred Perkins Rockwell (Colonel 6th Connecticut Infantry, later Brevet Brigadier General, also served in the 1st Connecticut Light Artillery) writes pertaining to battle between 2 Divisions of Longstreet's Corps with General Kautz's Cavalry.
