Document Signed (DS), 1 1/4 pages, 4to., "The Confederate States" imprint 5/64. Purchase of 4 barrels of flour for unit (2nd South Carolina Cavalry). Butler signs as Col. Comdg.
Homemade brown Confederate paper, thus some of the writing appears light. Butler's signature in dark ink. Some folds with reinforced splits.
Butler very scarce wardate.
